Nonograms, also known as Hanjies, are a puzzle, where the participant must fill in a board based on numbers given for each row and vertical line. The numbers indicate how many sequential colored squares there are in that line or column, and the player must use problem-solving skills to determine which squares to fill and which to leave empty. The end result is a image or design that is unveiled once the puzzle is solved correctly.
